It has a clear purpose, the team connects well with its stakeholders, members understand the role that they need to play and there is a collective awareness of the need to reflect and to learn.
Team Coaching is a relatively new discipline in the world of coaching.
Where coaches might work on a 1:1 basis with individuals from the same team, and hope that these people can then come together, to fix their problems or lead change, team coaches contract with the team as a whole and work with it as a unit.
Team Coaching recognises that leadership does not sit only with one person, instead, leadership can be embedded across the team.
This type of coaching is different.
We take real teams. Real people. Real team members with problems connecting, changing, innovating or communicating.

I’ve lost count of the teams I’ve worked with and been part of throughout my career.
Many have had to deal with change and I’ve got first-hand experience of the successes that strong team working can bring and the damage that ineffective teams can do.
In addition to being a qualified Executive Coach , I’m also an accredited Team Coach with EMCC and in 2020 I was amongst the first cohort to graduate from the Global Team Coaching Institute, established by some of the most respected coaching practitioners from across the world.
I’ve worked with senior and mid-level management teams, boards of directors and executives to maximise their effectiveness and empower them to transform their organisations, and meet real business goals.

What do my team get?
Team coaching packages are tailored to meet the needs of the team. A typical programme will be 6 - 12 months’ long but a Team Diagnostic can usually be carried out across 6-8 weeks.
The package will usually follow a process that includes:
An initial Team Diagnostic incorporating stakeholder feedback
A discovery workshop
Assessment of the readiness of the team
Identify where the weak spots are, and where the potential is to develop the team
Tailored coaching programme - co-created with your team
Team coaching sessions
Meeting observations
In many cases, we’ll adopt a co-coaching model with two qualified coaches working together with your team and its leader.
